Meet the Team
Blagdon employs a friendly and approachable team of people working with Galbraith, the managing agents.
The Estate Office
- Matthew Williamson, Agent (Galbraith).
- Chris Stonehouse, Finance Director.
- Claire Scott, Estate Administrator. As part of her role, Claire has strong relations with our residential tenants and the wider Blagdon community. She is responsible for the allocation of reactive and proactive work, tasking the maintenance and grounds team as well as the Blagdon contractors.
- Michelle Cairns, Estate Secretary. In addition to being our first point of contact Michelle is personal assistant to the Ridley family and is also responsible for the administration of the Ridley Family Charity.
- Jayne Straughan, Secretary (Galbraith).
- Will Todd, Agent’s Assistant (Galbraith).
Maintenance and grounds departments
Trevor, Brian, Will and Richard work in our maintenance department, performing a wide range of repairs and tasks to maintain our properties and support the smooth operation of the estate.
Michael, Shaun and Conner work in our grounds department. As well as forestry management and woodland operations they help maintain our beautiful surroundings throughout the year.
Both teams are assisted by local contractors and specialists.
Blagdon farming
Our in-hand farming operations are managed by our farm consultant, Agriculture Ltd. Fraser, the farm manager, and his team look after the land at Blagdon and our neighbour Hartley Mains Farm.
